Devot. Freedom

HI Folks,
I hope you are having a good week!!!! Our topic for this week is Freedom.
I was reminding myself this week that freedom truly isn't really free-it is bought at a price of someone else or their actions.

John 15:13, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
Patriotis in time past fought and died as a means of ensuring our country's freedom.
Our brave men and women in law enforcement/the military in present times are still serving and dying to keep us free.

In the spiritual sense, Jesus did the same for us.  He willingly laid down, sacrificed His life on the cross for us
as His means of paying our way to Heaven and freeing us from the penalty of our sin and an eternity apart from Him.
John 8:36, "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed."
Romans 6:22, But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life."
Our freedom, spiritually and physically is certainly not something we should take for granted.

Below are 3 devots. on freedom, spiritually and physically.  Pray whichever one you pick is a blessing to you and you learn much spiritually!
Lord bless you and yours this weekend!

"Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged."   Ronald Regan
