Devot. Passover

Dear Friends,

I hope you had a super week!

We are going to be finishing our devot. topic of Jesus' Resurrection very soon, but I wanted to break away from the topic for this week and focus on Passover, which is this coming Thursday.

In Exodus 12, the Egyptians and Israelites are in the midst of the plagues that God sent on the Egyptians.  Before the plague, God commanded Moses to instruct the Israelites to kill a spotless (blemish free) lamb, take its  blood and cover the lintels of their doors. When the Angel of Death came into Egypt, those homes with the blood covering the doors he would 'passover'' and spare the lives of their first born sons
There is a great deal that can be gained from this passage.

I have included 2 very short devotions.   The first one shows how Christ fulfilled Old Testament Scriptures and become the world's Passover Lamb, the sacrifice for our sins;  the second devot. shows how the Passover has a New Testament meaning.

I have also included a song link that takes about Jesus 'passing over' our sin and a Scripture link that gives the background of the first Old Testament Passover.  Enjoy looking though this during your week. Pray you learn much from this.   Lord bless your weekend!
